I brought in a lot of black (spiders, birds, branches) and white (webs, pumpkins), but I didn't want it to be a Halloween decor explosion because my "clutter body disorder" would show up, which can be VERY scary.

There are still white spider webs that you can buy that we used on the big A-frame windows that had clear command strips. We've had them for years. To cover such a large area of land for $10, it has such a big effect. We've learnt the best way to hang it over the years, but I still miss having Emily Bowser help me.

These pumpkins have lights on them, and we love putting them out every year. We've had them for four years, and the batteries don't run out, so you can leave them on all night. It's nice to be around the glow at night.

Birdie and I painted the coffee table and wall with spray paint. It was SO EASY. I would put spiderwebs on the trees with spiders if you wanted to take it a step further, or if we were having friends over for Halloween decor. But I thought that was enough for now. I also used spray paint to make the broom black. It had cute fall colours on it, but I wanted it to be simpler.

How to Make a Dollar Store Skully Squad on Halloween Decor?

Skully's Come Together! People loved this fun Dollar Store DIY project last Halloween decor. Who knew a skull from the dollar store could look so nice? One of my favourite small shops, Unigirl, gave me the idea for my colour scheme, which is purple, lavender, melon, peach, and pink. She always comes up with the coolest colour ideas. It was easy to carry out the skully team. I took off the top of each head. I could put the dried rabbit tails inside the head, which sounds really strange. After that, I used acrylic craft paint to paint each one. It needed three coats. When you line them up, you'll have the cutest little skull squad. It's a little scary and a lot of do-it-yourself magic.

Ideas for a Halloween Decor mantel

This was my first Halloween decor with a mantel! Wow, what a fun time. For a long time, I've wanted a fireplace. My helpful husband finally helped me get one. If you're new here, I need to tell you that I love dancing balls. I believe they are the most beautiful and sparkly way to decorate for any holiday. Changes to the Playhouse

Some of my favourite holiday decorations are for my daughter's playhouse, which also gives me ideas for Halloween decor. This cute house looks scary thanks to painted pumpkins, a black light, and lots of spider webs. This is Knox and Navy's wooden ghost sign. This is Pearl and Jane's hand-made wreaths. (Cue the tears!) Making big wreaths is a lot of fun, but the best thing to do is to find a wreath base that is big and has some filler in it. Like this wreath I found at Home Goods. The little white berries were already connected to the base, which was twig-like. At Michaels, the light-colored leaves, dried grass, bunny tails, skulls, and tombstones were found. I used watercolour paint from Michaels to make the tombstones and skulls match my wreath. Then I added the bats and small disco balls that I bought on Amazon. The dried palm leaves I bought from AFloral. Fun times are ahead! Get your glue gun and a few hundred glue sticks (kind of) and roll!

Someone said to have a party. Well, how about a scary sleepover? I'd like to join the Ghoul Party. It was so much fun having my girls sleep over for Halloween decor. Getting the sleepover tents was one of the best things I've ever spent money on. They're great for special events, but McKenzie and Maven will only sleep on the couch if I'm not there. They won't go downstairs without me. The background was another project I did myself. I used yarn, plastic tablecloths, and black star strands to make it. The balloons of the moon and stars make it look magical. The cute light-up ghost was a deal at Home Goods. The "It's a Ghoul Party" tablecloth is from Sprinkle of Whimsy, and the bat wreath is from Pearl and Jane.

Baskets of boo. That might make you wonder what it is. This means presents for your kids to start the month of October. Get them in the Halloween decor spirit by giving them clothes, candy, a book about Halloween, a witch hat, or anything else you think they would enjoy. This jelly bag is full of love for small shops. I knew what I had to do when Royally Iced sent me these beautiful sugar cookies. The treat board they made is so cute. Candy corn, pumpkin cookies from Trader Joe's, white chocolate pretzels and gummy teeth were all on the board. When McKenzie and Maven saw this, their mouths dropped open. When my kids do something funny, I live for it, because they're only little once.
